How it Happend!!

Boston Carter Harding

11:10 am
6 lb. 11 oz. 18 in.

Here is how things all got started!! After bunco on Tuesday mark and i sat in the hot tub for about 15 minutes- (it's allowed!) then we came in and watched t.v and had dessert. Around 11:00 pm i started to keep track of my contractions. after a while i fell asleep but around 3 am i couldn't stand them any longer! so off we headed. The nurse said i was about 3 centimeters and they would watch me for one hour. after the hour was up she said i was the same and gave me the choice of walking around or going home- i choose walking. after an hour of walking they checked me again and i had changed- I GET TO STAY!! I needed to have 2 rounds of antibiotic before i could deliver so we started an iv right away. the doctor than broke my water and an epidural. after 4 hours i could be given my 2nd dose of meds. the doctor called to see where i was at and the nurse checked and found that i was at 10!!! she ran to grab my 2nd dose and stared so by the time the doctor was at the hospital i could push. Already at a 10 and i could feel my contractions, so with about 20 minutes of waiting for the medication to go in and feeling pressure, i was ready to push!! 1 contraction with 2 pushes and he was out. my first thought was how small he was!! later to hear that he was 6 pounds 11 ounces and 18 inches with a head full of dark hair! my second smallest baby!! Healthy and strong! what a great way to end a family!! this all went better than i thought it would! how blessed to have had such great pregnancies! mark was excited that he looked like Payton!! we both couldn't be more happy- thanks for all the support!

I know that a lot of you would like to see pictures of how big i look, but i know i'm not a cute pregnant person!! go ahead ask mark, he'll tell you the same thing!! after having 4 already and knowing that EVERY time i gain 50 pounds, there is NO way i'm letting you see it! The doctor said he'll try and start me tomarrow- that's how payton and addi came (with in hours!!) so we'll see! I'm tried of not bending over, (it hurts way to much) not being able to hold little kids on my lap (no more room) and having pains in areas that i didn't know i had! so for now i AM looking forward to the doctors visit!

Special Day

Lakota was baptized by her daddy on January 31,2009. She was so excited she wanted to set her alarm for 6:30 in the morning!! Her favorite part was wearing the dress that grandma leatham made for her. After the baptism we had both families gather for a huge lunch! I hope they all had fun. Mark and I gave her a gift which included the 3 white dress poem,a birthstone neckless, a baptism journal and the mini children's song book. Lakota had a great day and looked very beautiful in her new white dress! we love you so much lakota!!
