Mexico Day 4-7!!

Day 4,Puerto Vallarta, We booked an excursion through the ship because it had a limit to how many people could go.(30) The Extreme Zip Line Tour!! It was like 5 excursions in 1. After the ship had docked we loaded a boat, the ride took about 25 minutes, from there it was into hummers that took us through a small little town that had a bunch of little taquilla factories. After the hummer ride we arrived at a little area in the jungle for instruction on where to place are hands while on the zip line. Then we geared up and was ready to go. Loaded on to mules and headed up the trail. This part was so much fun, the mules knew what to do and made the ride amazingly easy. Then we were off for our adventure, 8 zip lines and 2 waterfalls to repel down. It was so much fun and I got to experience all this with Mark!!! From zip line to zip line there was hiking, talking and jokes played on us by the many tour guides!! (like hiding behind things and scaring us!) I though that the whole tour went by really fast and I was hoping to do some shopping after, but that was not the case. This tour took up all 6 hours that we had. And YES I would do it all over again!
Day 5, Cabo, Shopping, Shopping and more Shopping. We tagged along with our new found friends. Our friends Derek and Brittney stopped and paid to hold a baby lion! When are you ever going to be able to do that? Brittney loved it and we took ever so many pictures for them. Next, off to the beach to soak in our last day. After boarding the ship we went our separate ways. (we had dinner in a different area) Later that night we all meet up for the comedy show. Drinks and a lot of laughter is what we needed to end the night right! We had a lot of fun with Derek, Brittany, Whitney and his wife Kassie, We are blessed to have ran into them and that we live so close! The last day (day6) was spent playing card with our friends, talking, lunch and getting to know each other. Sad to see it end, yes, but glad to have made new friends! Day 7, docking in California, super cold and windy! An easy flight home where we where met by Scott and Jenn!
Mark and I are very grateful to our parents for watching our kids so that we could spend an incredible time with each other. The kids could not stop talking about all the fun things they got to do with their Grandmas! How blessed we are!

Mexico Day 1-3

What can I say? We had so much fun! The first two days we spent on the ship. We walked around and found a really great spot to lay out, adults only, so no kids to bug us. It was heaven, listening to music, reading, soaking up the sun and spending alone time with my wonderful husband!! Day 3 was spent in Cabo. On the way to the shore we met 2 couples who knew how to speak Spanish, both from Utah, one from Lindon and one from Provo. As we walked the shore the couples asked us if we would like to go on a water taxi tour with them. Seeing as they knew how to speak the language we that it would be fun and easy! So off we went! We saw whales and sea lions, the tour guy also took us around the shore where we saw an arch, lovers cave, a window and a rock that was shaped like California. Then after the tour we went ashore. As we made camp on lovers beach the boys all went snorkeling, as for me, one try and I gave up. At the end of the day the water taxi came back and took us back to shore so we could get back on the ship in time. As for our new friends, we ended up doing a lot of fun things with them. We played phase 10, went to lunch, layed out in the sun, went to see the show and went to the comedy show together. We had a lot of fun with them and made plans to go out with them back home!
Every night the turn down service made a animal out of a towel, it was neat to see but one of the animals we had a hard time guessing what it was. It was fun getting dressed up for dinner. Every night after dinner we either went to see the show or off to see the comedy shows. It was great to have something to do that we might not get to do a lot of back home. Formal dinner was a blast. People willing to take your pictures every where. Walking to dinner and seeing all the people dressed up was really amazing, every one looked so great. And as for the dinner, the food was always outstanding! We ate way more then we should, my favorite was the chocolate melting cake with ice cream! (i ordered one every night!) Mark and I loved every minute of the trip, and we hope to do it again soon! (days 4-7 coming soon)
