Happy Birthday Lakota!!!

Lakota turned 7 on the 14 of January. Her party was on the 19. She wanted a High School Musical themed party! So we had HSM sing it on the WII going, HSM 1 on the t.v down stairs, and while they ate pizza HSM 2 was on the under the cabinet t.v in the kitchen. She gave goodies bags filled with HSM items like; cd's, bracelet's, stickers, notepads, pencils and plenty of candy!! What kind of cake?? You guessed it HSM cupcakes with rings in the middle on plates that were HSM along with the cups!! We asked on the invite to please wear HSM gear, most of the girls did, including Lakota and her sister Makayla!! Parties are fun but I was about ready for it to be over. The important thing is that Lakota had fun, and she did!!

Project completed!

This "project" has been going on for a few months now!! I found the windows during Strawberry Days at a fellows home who sell antiques as a living!! (I've done a lot of business with him)
My sister Stephanie and I did the sign a year or more ago and I didn't have a good spot in our last house to hang it. Now I do and I am glad I hung on to it. The hardest part was trying to find something I liked that also worked well in my kitchen to hang in the middle. I found the picture frames at a cute little shop that is moving down to Provo and everything was 40% off!! I hope to replace our family pics with pictures of the kids making cookies- that will come later. All in all i am very satisfied with how it all turned out!

Winter Wonderland!

This is what we woke up to 2 days ago!! The Picture of the barn is our neighbor to the left. A single lady who owns chickens. (yes the mornings are rough!) This tree is right out in front of our bed room window. Later on in the day the sun made this glisten like a diamond, sooo beautiful!! P.S. the date is january not december-need to fix that one!

The Holiday's

Here are the things that we have been up to sense I last blogged!

Lakota and Makayla had school programs. Both sang great and they really had a lot of fun!

Addison helped mom with sugar cookies, I think she had more fun than me!!!

Christmas: The girls love High School Musical so that's what they got!!

Mark and I spoiled the girls with Ipods and Nintendo Ds and plenty of game for both! Payton love Mickey mouse club house so that is what he got and a lot of Diego things. As for Addi she got a baby doll and a new baby stroller and tons of clothes!

As for mark and I for Christmas, we both got spoiled Marks list includes the Wii and a flat screen TV for the bed room ( and the directv to go with it)! A some games for his PSP.
My list: Video Ipod, Clothes and a new wedding ring ( in place of the one that has been destroyed twice) . As a family we got a bunch of games and a ton of movies!!! I do hope that will keep everyone content for a while.
All in All we had a great day! We spent the day at my moms , we ate, played games and talked like we hadn't seen each other for years!! Tons of fun. My sisters and I all get along wonderfully!! Truly fun.
New years came and went with my nose in a book (the twilight books!!!) With kids it's hard to plan for such a late night! I do hope this year will bring you new delights that you have not been able to experience yet!! To a Great Year- much love sent your way-Laura.
