Mexico Day 1-3

What can I say? We had so much fun! The first two days we spent on the ship. We walked around and found a really great spot to lay out, adults only, so no kids to bug us. It was heaven, listening to music, reading, soaking up the sun and spending alone time with my wonderful husband!! Day 3 was spent in Cabo. On the way to the shore we met 2 couples who knew how to speak Spanish, both from Utah, one from Lindon and one from Provo. As we walked the shore the couples asked us if we would like to go on a water taxi tour with them. Seeing as they knew how to speak the language we that it would be fun and easy! So off we went! We saw whales and sea lions, the tour guy also took us around the shore where we saw an arch, lovers cave, a window and a rock that was shaped like California. Then after the tour we went ashore. As we made camp on lovers beach the boys all went snorkeling, as for me, one try and I gave up. At the end of the day the water taxi came back and took us back to shore so we could get back on the ship in time. As for our new friends, we ended up doing a lot of fun things with them. We played phase 10, went to lunch, layed out in the sun, went to see the show and went to the comedy show together. We had a lot of fun with them and made plans to go out with them back home!
Every night the turn down service made a animal out of a towel, it was neat to see but one of the animals we had a hard time guessing what it was. It was fun getting dressed up for dinner. Every night after dinner we either went to see the show or off to see the comedy shows. It was great to have something to do that we might not get to do a lot of back home. Formal dinner was a blast. People willing to take your pictures every where. Walking to dinner and seeing all the people dressed up was really amazing, every one looked so great. And as for the dinner, the food was always outstanding! We ate way more then we should, my favorite was the chocolate melting cake with ice cream! (i ordered one every night!) Mark and I loved every minute of the trip, and we hope to do it again soon! (days 4-7 coming soon)
