Christmas Day

Plenty going on.....the kids woke up around 7:30 am which was a big surprise- usually its earlier! I think the rest is self-explanatory!! Unwrap, open item and play!! Some of our big hits this year was ; Lakota; clothes, purse, ipod dock and pillow pet; Makayla: sewing machine, pillow case to sew together, clothes and pillow pet; Payton: his dsi xl, mario games, tron and star wars items and pillow pets; Addison: skates, dsi, games clothes and pillow pet; Boston: little people garage, tons of cars, clothes and pillow pet!! overboard again. As for Mark and I, he got clothes, a watch and some of the games he has been wanting for his ps3. As for me, Mark spoiled me again, pearl neck less and earrings, 3 hour spa treatment,VS perfume and more clothes then I need!! He must love me :) all in all we remembered it was the Saviors birth and in doing so our reminder hung in the middle of the tree, a picture given to us by our Bishop. I think next year we will frame the picture and but sure to place it in the heart of the tree so that we can be reminded of the season and what it is truly about. A wonderful teaching method to my kids, that the true season of Christmas starts with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We have been truly blessed this year, and our hopes are for our family and friends that this next year too will bring many blessings unto you! Happy New Year

Keeping up with Traditions!

As with every year we go to my mom's, Grandma Leatham's, with all the cousins and decorate Gingerbread Houses. As with every year, we as parents go over board with candy. We had so much candy and candy leftovers that we had no clue what to do with it. All the cousins had a blast! We are so glad to have such great friends in the family. To hear all the giggles and schemes to see who could come up with the best decorating skills was fun!! Ethan always had some crazy idea, did it work?? To HIM yes!! The houses turned out dazzling and I think they were eaten with in hours! A BIG thank you to the oldest cousin, Carissa, for helping out when and where she could!!

The Harding Christmas Party

Every year the Harding's put together a Christmas party, with games, food and presents. This year we ended up having to leave early due to a sick Makayla. (followed my a sick Lakota) But while we were there, there was plenty of fun to be had! Games, singing, and exchanging of the cousins gifts! I'm glad the traditions still continues!

Dance, Dance, Dance

Addison got to perform her dance that she has been working on with the Show Dance Company. The Company put on the play of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The song she was given was "Where are you Christmas" in the pictures she is standing next to her best friend Olivia, shes in the blue, sparkly dress. At dance they are inseparable!! We all got to watch as a family, including my mom and dad and Addison's uncle Scott!( my little brother) We are grateful for the support that she had that day. How cute does she look? so sweet....

Addison's pre-school performance

Addi also had a share in the Christmas season. Her preschool put on a mini play. She got to be one of the reindeer. She was so adorable. She knew all her songs. She also go to serve mom and dad cookies. I love her to pieces!! She is just growing up too fast for me!!

Piano concert

Lakota and Makayla both had a piano concert at their piano teachers house, Julie. They had been practicing all month. Both of my girls played 2 song each. How amazing they were! I am so proud that they have worked so hard.
