Really ? A pillow case???

How cute are these?

A dress made out of a pillow case? Yup, I used the measurements from a pillow case and made my own little design. Addison has one too, but not out of the same fabric and she has 2 ties, one on each side (picture to come). Lakota and Makayla loved these dresses so much that they are asking for more. (they both want one to wear to swimming lessons in the summer). I think they turned out great and they are super fast and easy!! don't they look cute?

I want one too!!!

So if the girls get one, why can't I?

It's a bit longer than what I thought but very, very cute. I even have yellow shoes to match. So what do you think?

Who turned 9??

Lakota!! She had such a blast. We took her and a few friends to Jump On It! For a full 2 hours they jumped, laughed and giggled. Oh yes there was even a GIANT cupcake. We are so glad to have Lakota in our family, she is such a big help to her mom, sisters and brothers. We love you Lakota and we are so proud!

My sister Stephanie found a really cute blog page that showed you step by step how to make a double twirl skirt! Well now I have made 3, one for each of my girls and now think that I have become ADDICTED!! Thanks Steph for the great tips!!!
(the top one is Addi's, the bottom left is Lakota's and the bottom right is Makayla's)

Our CrAzY December!

WOW!!! So many things happened in December I don't even know where to start!! So if this gets out of order, sorry!!!
Makayla had her 1st grade Christmas performance!! She did well, but you could tell she didn't like who she was sitting next to because she kept telling him to stop!! Here is a picture of one of her friends, Maddie and her, WAY TO GO MAKAYLA!!!

We also did our annual ginger bread houses (really graham cracker) at Grandma Leathams! OVERLOAD on the sugar, but it was fun!!!

CHRISTMAS DAY!!! Both sides of the family live within a 10 mile raids so Christmas for us is exhausting, so here are just some highlights; the girls "american dolls", video ipods, star wars everything, little people farm, a sewing machine, new camera, play station 3 and games, a bunch of movies and a whole lot of board games. We spent Christmas day at my parents which included exchanging gifts, the white elephant game, the candy bar game and more food then you could imagine!! wow!!! hope you enjoyed reading!!
